Bring your technical skills and leadership to a role where your work moves from a detailed model to a finished structure. You will guide the modeling and detailing of precast/prestressed concrete projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, manufacturing teams, and field operations to develop accurate, coordinated, and practical solutions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, taking ownership of project delivery, and helping others succeed. You will influence how projects are detailed, manufactured, and installed while contributing to team development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project modeling and detailing. Manage assigned projects and coordinate team resources to meet milestones, budgets, and company quality standards.
- Translate construction documents into clear, buildable details. Review architectural and structural plans, details, specifications, and related trade information to establish precast layouts and prepare coordinated project designs and details using applicable company and subsidiary standards.
- Resolve technical challenges. Identify gaps, conflicts, and deficiencies in project documents; clearly communicate findings; and work with Project Management and Engineering to support timely resolution.
- Connect design with manufacturing and installation. Collaborate regularly with project managers, project engineers, production facilities, and field operations to incorporate best practices and improve project execution.
- Keep projects moving. Confirm detailing and approval requirements, coordinate necessary information, document changes and deviations, and manage timely submittals and release of information to manufacturing.
- Maintain quality and accountability. Perform or coordinate checking, ensure accuracy and conformance to project requirements, and communicate completed designs and details clearly with minimal supervision.
- Manage schedules and resources. Develop and maintain time estimates, budgets, and schedules for assigned work and team members, adjusting resources as needed to support project commitments.
- Develop others. Support department leadership through staff development, technical guidance, feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Contribute across the organization. Provide technical assistance to other departments and help strengthen coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advance your expertise. Stay informed about company and industry developments, pursue professional development, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
